Billy Joe Saunders vs Canelo
Will be getting up for this one...if it happens of course.

Not always Bills biggest fan of his antics outside of ring but he can fight and is possibly only one who can give Canelo a challenge at moment.

I have a funny feeling he is gonna pull it off. I hope he does and will be up to watch or go all the way though...

Even better is the shit that Hearn has been getting and proof his loyalties are no longer with British fighters, its all about his pockets. Just like his CUNT accountant dad.

Who u got and why?

Watched the Lennox Lewis film/doc on SKY docs last night... really enjoyable... has to be in the top best HW's of all time... retired undisputed... only Ali and Marciano can equal that...a fantastic pugilist...

It's a shame BJS got such a hiding as I had booked the cunt to tarmac my drive today.

The right decision to pull BJS and save him from potentially life threatening further punishment.

On the other hand Josh Warrington was allowed to carry on far too long in his recent fight and was lucky to escape with just the injuries he recieved.

It was amazing the referee and his own father allowed him to continue in the state he was in concussed and merely fighting off instinct.
A very uncomfortable watch to be honest and he was probably let down by all concerned.

He really is a nasty piece of work. That video of him being interviewed by the Mexican journalist before the fight shows him up. As do the numerous others including the one of him demeaning that woman crack addict just for his mate's entertainment.

None of us are perfect but he is low.

First time I can remember wanting a 'British' fighter to lose on the big stage.

Didn’t realise how much of an absolute arsehole of a human being he is.

Re: Billy Joe Saunders vs Canelo
BJS has no class showed no respect towards Canelo in the build up instead saying he didn't give a s**t about him.
Always banging on about Gypsy this and Gypsy that thinking it will intimidate, dismissing the realities to his own cost. Like a few have mentioned his F*ukd up remarks towards Dubois came round to him.
Meanwhile Canelo calmly told everyone what would happen and it happened just like he said it would.

Re: Billy Joe Saunders vs Canelo
Having watched the fight and ignoring for the moment BJS being a horrible bloke. I thought he done pretty well for someone not that active. He didn't look to bothered by the Canelo power, was winning some rounds and I dare say might have nicked a couple more. But ultimately he would have lost on points whatever.

I do wonder whether a BJS that dedicated himself in similar way to Canelo to the sport, been active like him, might have been different proposition. But that hasn't been the case.

Re: Billy Joe Saunders vs Canelo
And talking of Dubois, he showed absolute class towards BJS despite what he said about him. Could easily have mocked him like Eubank did

Re: Billy Joe Saunders vs Canelo
He didn't quit.

Even IF he did, can you blame him for having an broken eye socket?

I doubt many people have ever had it, so wouldn't know the type of pain it causes.

Exactly why he shouldn’t have stuck his tuppence ha’penny in when it happened to Dubois and he said if his eye socket was busted he’d carry on regardless

I didn’t see him protesting when they chucked the towel in. He told them he couldn’t see and they rightly called it a day. Probably told him he could end up dead and when it came to the crunch he didn’t fancy it despite saying he would do if he was in Dubois shoes

If there is a return he will get beaten up even worse.

Re: Billy Joe Saunders vs Canelo
I never get fighters mugging off other fighters for injuries they've sustained.

Until you physically feel the pain, it's easy to sit there and laugh at someone pulling out.

A lesson will be learnt by BJS, but to suggest he quit is wrong.

Rocky : How does it look?

Mickey : Ah, it's an improvement.

Rocky : You stop this fight, I'll kill ya'!

Rocky : Cut me, Mick

Rocky : I think we make a real sharp couple of coconuts - I'm dumb, you're shy, whaddaya think, huh?

Just saying like....

Re: Billy Joe Saunders vs Canelo
Think 66 point is that he slaughtered Dubois online calling him a coward and that he would rather die than give up etc. Also said he would go back out with two broken eye sockets.

Not saying he quit but he certainly did not look like someone that wanted to go back out there with one broken eye socket let alone two.

I got the impression he wanted to continue, but then welcomed his corner pulling him out of the fight when it became obvious his eye was pretty badly damaged.

I've fractured my orbital. It was painful! Parts of my eyebrow are still numb 20 years later.

BJS - I can’t see
Corner - that’s it you’re out of here
BJS - sits on stool saying nothing

Or

BJS - my eye hurts but I can see fine
Corner - come on you the man, let’s go
BJS - yea let’s go id rather die than give up

Block 3:54 Mon May 10
Re: Billy Joe Saunders vs Canelo
66, BJS didn't quit. His corner refused to let him box so called it off. Massive difference.

Re: Billy Joe Saunders vs Canelo
I’m no expert but it seemed like BJS won at least 2 if not 3 rounds but wouldn’t argue with Canelo being ahead

Block - yea, Eubank clearly has a massive chip on his shoulder and I wonder how he’d be feeling now if the worst had happened to BJS.

Having said that, BJS was showed a similar level of cuntiness towards Dubois when Joyce smashed his eye socket and BJS said he’d rather die than quit. Clearly telling porky pies ...
